A bit of Fairy Magic

Disney character Tinkerbell has officially left Neverland in order to encourage us to be a bit greener and keep our world a bit cleaner. The UN has appointed Disney’s most infamous fairy Tinkerbell as an “Honorary ambassador of green” in order to make younger children more aware of the environment in an engaging way.

As the Copenhagen Climate Conference in December is drawing nearer, the UN is working very hard on promoting the importance of environmental issues among politicians as well as private individuals including children. And what a better way to interest children than using a sympathetic green fairy that cares about the environment?
